Goodbye 2009

Where did 2009 run off to? This year flew by without my consent, I’m afraid. It has been an eventful year in my life, marked most importantly by the blessings of my scholarship to Marian University and the printing of Danger in the Shadows, my second book. My list of goals for 2009 is less than complete, I admit, but it has been a year of many, many blessings. The perfect conclusion to a very eventful decade (if you remember, words like facebook, txting, and iPod were nonexistent prior to the 2000’s, and most cultures communicated with primitive, corded telephones, mainly to express their growing anxiety about the speculated apocalypse they called “Y2K.” Long story.)

I wish everyone an amazing 2010, and I hope you enjoyed your holidays as much as I have. After a pleasant Christmas with family, I am looking forward to moving on campus at Marian for next semester. This next year will hold more adventures & challenges, and I can’t wait to meet them!

I just saw your article in the Flyer. Congratulations on your second book. You must be thrilled! It’s been posted internally at your old place of work, because everyone is so proud. YAY, Hannah!
