Update from the Stahlhut Home
Ahhh… it’s been a crazy year already, and we’re not even three months in. As this is my final semester of high school, time seems to be moving slower than ever! We’re booking author visits, planning to attend the homeschool convention in Indy, and trying to finish up my Spanish and Geometry.
At long last, I have found time to start another writing project. I have written 72 pages in a new children’s adventure this month. I’m not saying much right now, but I will say that I am very excited about it. My favorite scenes are chase scenes, and there will be plenty in this book.
Besides writing, I have kept busy with scholarship applications and college visits. Choosing a college has turned out to be harder than I ever imagined! At this point, I am praying for God to make it obvious where he wants me to go. I praise Him for giving me so many opportunities. Four years ago, I didn’t think I was smart enough to get into a college. I hated school, and wanted it to end as soon as possible. Now, all I think about is continuing my education! I can’t imagine any better way to spend my next four years. Dramatic change lies in my future, that is for sure, but I am ready to meet it!
